CX15
The Edbro CX Series combines a lightweight, high-performance ram and tank assembly designed for rigid truck tipping applications. Engineered to maximise payload and improve operational efficiency, the series offers lift capacities ranging from 10 to 32 tonnes across a range of truck configurations. Its compact integrated design reduces installation complexity, minimises pipework and supports faster body-builder turnaround times.
The CX15 combines a lightweight ram and tank assembly with integrated hydraulic protection and high-performance sealing for heavy-duty rigid truck tipping applications. Its range of hoist configurations accommodates different body lengths and operating requirements, while the integrated design helps simplify installation and improve operational efficiency.
Designed for rigid trucks with a nominal GVW of 32–36 tonnes.
Choose from 4,606 mm, 5,006 mm and 5,606 mm to suit the required tipping configuration.
Available configurations support nominal body lengths of 5.75 m, 6.5 m and 7.0 m.
Use the available options below as an initial selection guide. Final product selection should be matched to the vehicle, body geometry, tipping angle, hydraulic system and required lift duty.
| Lift capacity | 29–32 |
| Number of stages | 32–36 |
| Stroke options | 5,606 mm |
| System type | On-Road Systems |
The laser-welded, one-piece tube design helps reduce system weight, creating opportunities to increase payload while maintaining lifting performance.
Designed to support efficient tipping cycles, helping improve vehicle productivity and reduce turnaround times.
A specialised sealing system helps minimise leakage and supports dependable operation with reduced servicing requirements.
An integrated hydraulic valve with a burst-prevention feature helps reduce the risk of system damage and supports safe operation.
The CX Series combines the ram and tank into an integrated assembly to simplify installation on rigid trucks. Reduced pipework and easy-fit brackets help streamline body-builder integration, while the selected hoist stroke and system configuration should be matched to the vehicle chassis, body dimensions and tipping requirements.
The combined design reduces separate installation components and helps simplify hydraulic system integration.
An integrated configuration helps minimise pipework and supports a cleaner, more efficient installation.
Designed to support practical installation and help reduce body-builder fitting time.
The CX15 is suited to commercial-vehicle tipping installations where long stroke, compact closed dimensions and dependable front-end lift are required. The application photograph shows front-end telescopic cylinders supporting raised tipper bodies on a rigid truck and trailer combination.
System design must account for body length, pivot position, tipping angle, load distribution, hydraulic pressure, installation clearances and side-load conditions.
